Much like drainage and sewage infrastructure, fresh water reservoirs have a multitude of hard-to-access locations that need regular inspection. In Hong Kong, there are also many covered service reservoirs in urban areas that, even when empty, are dangerous to access and inspect by traditional means. Here again, Elios 3 proves its worth, enabling close inspection, and 3D mapping of covered service reservoirs as well as underground connecting tunnels, channels and spillways for larger open reservoirs.
