June 26, 2025: Flyability have announced the availability of an all-new high-capacity battery for the Elios 3. This new battery is designed to give Elios 3 users up to 50% more flight time per charge. The battery is available to order now.
The high-capacity battery offers 13 minutes and 30 seconds of flight time in a standard configuration (Elios 3 with the Rev 6 LiDAR fitted), compared to 9 minutes and 10 seconds with the standard battery. In addition to extended airtime, the battery delivers twice the number of recommended charge cycles (100 cycles) compared to the standard battery (50 cycles), maximising long-term value by combining longer missions with a significantly improved battery lifespan.
